🌐 Deal of the week: 20% off AEGEAN Airlines flights

I got an email from Global Nomad Pass with a deal so good I had to share it with you.

You can get 20% off AEGEAN Airlines flights through GNP’s partnership with AEGEAN and Work From Greece. The discount is valid across the full AEGEAN and Olympic Air network and covers travel through October 15, 2026.

So for everyone planning their Eurosummer with a stop in Greece... don't sleep on this. The pass is completely free, and a 20% discount on flights is pretty much unheard of.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Check your eligibility: Click this link to access a short survey. You'll need either a confirmed flight booking to Greece (with your airline and booking reference) or to be physically located in Greece when you fill it out.

  2. Get your free Global Nomad Pass: If you're eligible, you'll receive an email with a link to install your free GNP. The pass gives you access to discounts around the world.

  3. Claim your 20% promo code: Once you have your pass, click this link to claim your 20% promo code.

  4. Book your flight: Apply the code to any AEGEAN or Olympic Air flight, for travel through October 15, 2026.

🇺🇾 Last-minute workation: A Taste of Uruguay (May 10–24)

If you're still figuring out May travel plans, this one is worth a serious look. Lu Krygier is a local host who designed a 2-week workation (May 10-24) that takes you from Montevideo to Punta del Este. One week in the capital, one week by the beach, **cue best of both worlds by Hannah Montana.**

You get a private bedroom and bathroom in a coliving space near the sea, dedicated coworking with high-speed WiFi, curated local experiences, weekend getaways, and a tight-knit group of up to 11 nomads to share it with. Spanish classes are on offer too if you want to level up while you're there.

Early bird price is $1,400 USD until April 24, then goes up to $1,600. You can secure your spot with a $400 deposit.

Can't make May? Lu also has editions running Oct 18 to Nov 1, Nov 15 to 29, and Dec 6 to 20.

🇵🇹 Community Q&A: POMAR Coliving with Andrew Williams

Andrew from Remote Tribe & deskhop recently posted about his stay at POMAR Coliving in Portugal. He liked it so much, he went for round two!! So of course we had to get the full scoop. Here’s what he said:

What made you choose POMAR in the first place?
“I actually came back to POMAR after two years, which says a lot. What really draws me in is how “plug and play” everything is, you arrive and it just works. The standards are high, both in terms of the rooms and the work setup, and the community is always a highlight. I consistently meet interesting, like-minded people there, and the villa locations are also very well chosen, which makes the overall experience seamless.”

What was your first impression when you arrived?
“Very clean, very organised, and immediately welcoming. There’s always a community manager present, which makes a big difference, especially when you first arrive. The WhatsApp group also stood out. It keeps everything structured and makes it easy to stay in the loop with what’s happening.”

What did a typical day there look like for you?
“I’d usually start work around 9am and go until about midday, with short breaks in between, often a quick swim in the pool or a walk around the village. I like mixing focused work with small resets like that. I’d also take time to socialise with people in the house. That said, it’s true that the social aspect can sometimes make it harder to focus, so for calls or deep work, I’d often retreat to my room.”

Was there a moment during your stay that really captured the vibe of the place?
“Definitely the barbecues and the spontaneous nights out at local tapas bars. They’re informal, relaxed, and just full of good energy. Everyone is open, chatty, and you end up sharing stories, travel experiences, and perspectives on life.”

What did you love most about POMAR?
“The villas themselves are a big part of it, they’re thoughtfully selected and fully equipped with everything you need. Having a pool, a garden, and even weights makes a difference, especially when you’re staying for a few weeks. It strikes a great balance between comfort, productivity, and lifestyle. It’s an open and welcoming environment, which makes it easy to connect with the community.”

Who do you think POMAR is a good fit for?
“It’s ideal for people who already understand what a workation is and have a certain level of discipline. There are a lot of social activities and distractions, so you need to be able to manage your time. If you do, you’ll get a huge amount of value from the experience. I’d also recommend staying at least three weeks to really settle in and make the most of it.”

Andrew’s advice to the Pangea community:
“Don’t hesitate, just book it, ideally in advance. And come prepared for a mix of cold water, kitesurfing, and very laid-back, good vibes. It’s one of those places that delivers exactly what you hope for in a workation.”

✈️ Travel plans & upcoming trips

I'm one week into the TulsaBound program in Tulsa, Oklahoma!! I genuinely had no idea what to expect coming here. My hypothesis coming in was that Tulsa is the Bansko of the US. TBD on that, but I’ve been truly impressed by the programming and am having a big fun time with the community.

In one week, we've already seen Mama Mia on stage, had dinners at local restaurants, devoured Food Truck Wednesday, coworked at Gradient, hit the farmers market, went to a wellness event, music shows, movie night, a cooking class, and walked by the river.

So far, what has stood out is the people. Everyone is SO friendly. Even just walking around the city, everyone is smiley, happy, and welcoming.

Most of my social life so far has been with the other people in the program, but my next mission is to make friends outside the group, too. I'm actually meeting up with some girls I connected with after posting this video on TikTok… will report back. 👀
