Happy summer!! 👋

Faith here, from Pangea, the social travel app for people who believe the world is better explored with community. Every week or so, I land in your inbox with places to go, people to meet, and communities worth joining.

This week, we’re all about connecting offline, online, now & later.

No dilly dallying, let’s get into it 👇

First things first:

👉 Wanna host a meetup this summer? Reply to this email and let’s make it happen!

👉 Join us in Bangkok at the Extraordinary Travel Fest: Prices go up July 1, use code PANGEA to save $100 on your ticket.

👉 Explore the Pangea Global Nomad Calendar: Find meetups, trips, and events from verified travel communities around the world, all in one place.

👉 Read to the end to check out our Verified Nomad Programs and more discounts!

🗽IN NEW YOOORRRK (Pangea x Outsite x MTP meetup)

Join us in the concrete jungle where dreams are made of!

We’re collabing with Outsite & Most Traveled People for our next meetup happening July 2nd! It’s all taking place on the rooftop at Outsite's Chelsea coliving location with drinks, appetizers, and good company.

Pangea meetups are for anyone in the community who wants to join! That means nomads, remote workers, locals, or if your plans just so happen to overlap! But you must RSVP since we can only fit so many travelers on a rooftop. Spots are limited, so join the waitlist if it’s full (we love an after party)!

📲 Get plugged into WhatsApp

We gave our WhatsApp community a refresh so it's easier to find your people.

Here's what's inside:

🎯 Interest groups: for the specific stuff you're into like diving, sailing, skiing, etc.

🗺️ Region groups: for areas with fewer frequent travelers, so you can still find your people even if it's not a huge nomad hotspot (Middle East, East Africa, South Pacific, & more)

📍 Country groups: for the major nomad hubs and anywhere we've got Pangea Trips planned in the next couple of years

🏙️ City hubs: for the big cities, find out who's around right now or get advice from those who have been (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Rio, etc.)

💬 Chit Chat: for everything else & that one question that you don’t know where to ask

📱Pangea App Feedback: a dedicated spot for app feedback, questions, and requests

🌍 Pangea Trips is here, where do you wanna go?

Our founder, Matt, has been chasing every country on earth for a while now. Somewhere around country 121, he realized the hard part isn't getting there, it's finding people heading to the same off the beaten path places he is.

So he teamed up with Caroline Lupini, Forbes editor and 130-country traveler, to fix that.

There's already a running list of destinations being considered for short expeditions, places like Bhutan, Cuba, Antarctica, Oman, and more spots across Africa and the Pacific.

These dates are tentative, so if there's one you're really excited about and want to be a part of, let us know by clicking the link to join the chat!

Got somewhere in mind that's not on the list yet? Reply to this email & let us know!

✈️ Travel plans & upcoming trips

My (preferred) travel style is a few months abroad, and a few months back in the US. While in the US, I try to spend quality time with friends and family. So for the first time ever, I’m spending over a week with my brother in Orlando, FL!

Since Spirit Airlines is no more (RIP), I tried out Breeze Airways for the first time to go from RDU to MCO and it was super nice. Still a budget airline, so you're paying for any bag bigger than a personal item and there's no free snacks.

But they had free water, coffee, and tea, plus USB and USC plugs to charge your phone. That's really all I need for a 1.5-hour flight.

Anyone else flown Breeze yet?
